Our Board

Board members are elected by a vote of the people. The Board is authorized to receive compensation in the amount of $197.99 for each day on which they attend a regular, special, or committee meeting.

The District provides health insurance coverage to each Board Member and one dependent, On July 16, 2019, the HVLCSD Board of Directors elected to contribute 5% of the cost of their insurance premium for budgetary purposes.

Vacancy notices are published in the local newspaper and public bulletin boards.
